The Rome City Commission voted Monday to terminate the liquor pouring license of Peaches on Broad Street after they failed to comply with its 50/50 food to drink ratio.
The motion was passes unanimously and will go into effect May 15th. 5-3.
The establishment will still be able to serve beer and wine while serving the suspension.
In 90 days restaurant owner Stephanie Shaw can reapply.
The commission has also been asked to revisit the 50/50 food to drink ratio, stating that the law is antiquated.
