On May 1st, Realty One Group, a local real estate firm, participated in the ONE Day Community Service, a day when 18,000 Realty One Group Agents across the nation commit to engaging in community service to celebrate the company’s founding date, May 1, 2005. The event was a huge success, with the realtors working tirelessly to beautify the Habitat for Humanity ReStore by painting the exterior, and planting and updating flower beds, and hosting a Blood Assurance blood drive with 25 donors donating 30 units.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials, and more at a fraction of the retail price. Realty One Group’s team worked together to clean, organize, and refresh the store’s exterior, making it a more inviting space for shoppers.
In addition to the beautification efforts, Realty One Group also hosted a Blood Assurance blood drive, with 25 donors stepping up to donate a total of 30 units of blood. The blood donated will help save lives in the community and beyond.
