Summerville Police responded to a call on Monday regarding a domestic situation and spoke with the victim, twenty-four-year-old Xavier Reece.

Reece told police that he and his girlfriend had been in an argument about a lost sales receipt from Factory Connection in Summerville.  Reece told police that the girlfriend had, in a fit of rage, while looking for the receipt, broken the passenger side window on her vehicle.  The two traveled to Trion, where he reportedly jumped out of the girlfriend’s moving vehicle near the “Shell on the Hill” gas station.  His girlfriend circled back and picked him up – only to drop him off at the Tavern in Trion.

While walking down Central Avenue, Reece’s aunt picked him up and then dropped him off at the Chattooga County Courthouse.  Reece told police that he wanted an escort to take him to his girlfriend’s residence to retrieve his personal belongings.

Police said that Reece had “road rash” from his injuries sustained when he jumped out of the woman’s car, but that Reece refused medical treatment.
