Kitsy Pauline Ashley, 45 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome after she allegedly tried to kill a 51 year-old man by striking him with her car.
Reports added that Ashley relatedly hit the victim with her fist before attempting to run him over.
She is then accused of fleeing the scene without checking on his condition.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Gowen Drive and Burnett Ferry Road.
Ashley is charged with aggravated assault, battery, aggressive driving, hit and run and driving on a suspended license.
