Kenneth Jeffery Saxton, 54 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threatened to kill another man with a sword.
Reports added that Saxton used the sword in an “offensive manner” that would like have resulted in death.
The victim was listed as a 64 year-old male.
The incident occurred at an apartment on Davis Street.
Saxton is charged with aggravated assault.
