Rome Man Jailed After Touching Woman’s Vaginal Area

Charles Anthony McPherson, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he lied to investigators while being questioned for a sexual attack.

Police said that McPherson touched the vaginal area of a woman without her consent back on April 7^th at a home on Blankenship Place.

Police said that McPherson gave his brother’s name as his own.

McPherson is charged with sexual battery and giving false information to police.
