Matthew Ben Warner, 30 of Hampton, was arrested in Rome after he reportedly forged and deposited $8,540 worth of checks in his bank account.
Police said that Warner deposited checks for $4,600 and $3,940 on May 23, 2022.
Warner is charged with two counts of third degree forgery.
