Shymale Renee Dublin, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she failed to get medical attention for a 2 year-old child who suffered server burns to their lower extremities.
Reports said that the child fell onto a heater while her 15 year-old son was watching him as she worked. When she returned home she stated that she did not seek medical attention but rather applied Neosporin to the area.
Officers added that the child will most likely have a scar from the incident.
Dublin is charged with cruelty to children in the 2nd degree.
