Michael Damien McBurnett, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he led Georgia State Patrol troopers on a chase of speeds of over 107 mph.
Reports said that a trooper first initiated a stop near the intersection of Alabama Highway and Highway 100 after clocking McBurnett driving 90 mph in a 55 zone.
Instead of stopping, McBurnett fled from troopers, while illegally passing others and driving at speeds of over 107 mph.
McBurnett is charged with speeding, reckless driving, passing on the shoulder, failure to maintain lane and attempting to elude officers.
