Charles Jeffrey Garrett, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he sent a video of himself masturbating to a “child” under the age of 16 years-old.
Reports added that after asking the child to meet for sexual acts, he was captured at an arranged meeting spot in Floyd County.
Police went on to say that Garrett also drive to the location without valid insurance.
Garrett is charged with child molestation, electronically furnishing obscene materials to a child, use of a computer to solicit a child to commit a crime, obscene internet contact with a child and driving without insurance.
