Coby Seth Ashley, 23 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he punched another man in the mouth while drunk in public at a downtown Rome bar.
Authorities added that Ashley was found intoxicate while being boisterous and acting in a disorderly manner.
The incident occurred at Peaches.
Ashley is charged with battery and public drunk.
