Jamey Lee Chastain, 42 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he threatened a child and her mother during an altercation on Davis Street.
Reports said that the victim’s told police that they were in fear of receiving injury.
When officers arrived on scene, Chastain pulled away from them while being placed under arrest.
Chastain is charged with simple assault and obstruction.
