Davario Kata Demae Terrell, 19 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he hit a 21 year-old woman in the face.
The victim suffered two visible cuts to her face from the attack.
The incident occurred at a location on Superior Drive.
Terrell is charged with battery.
