James Michael Gray, 22 of Cedartown, was arrested this week on drug and traffic charges after leading Floyd County authorities on a motorcycle chase of speeds of over 120 mph.
Officers said that they attempted to pull Gray over after they clocked him driving at speeds of 88 mph in a 55 zone. They went on to say that Gray proceeded to increase speeds to over 120 mph.
After eventually taking Gray into custody, police said they found him in possession of marijuana.
Jail officers went on to say that while being booked they found him hiding methamphetamine.
Gray is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate, attempting to elude police, failure to maintain lane, speeding, driving without license, violation of license class, operating a motorcycle without a shield, no insurance, and reckless driving.
