Tashaun Jamar Hames, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he resisted arrest while being taken into custody for drug possession.
Reports said that Hames was found with a bag of suspected marijuana during a search on Moran Lake Road.
Hames is charged with possession of marijuana and obstruction.
