Maria Isabell Castro, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she violated several terms of being a convicted sex offender in Rome.
Reports said that in November 2017, Castro failed to notify authorities of her move to a home on Hillside Avenue. Then in September 2018, she gave police false information stating that she was living at a home on Rooney Road.
Then in June 2019, Castro allegedly, again, failed to notify police that she had moved to a home on Hillside Avenue.
This was followed by a January 2022 incident, where she failed to notify authorities that she had moved to a home on Colonial Drive.
Finally, in September of 2022 she told police that she was living at a home on Colonial Drive when in fact she was living at a home on Hillside Avenue.
Castro is charged with six counts failure to register as a sex offender.
