Pamala Denise Saxton, 54 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stole $100 from a misplaced wallet.
Reports said that Saxton found the lost wallet in a basket at the Dollar General on North Broad Street.
After allegedly taking the money from the wallet and then proceeded to place the wallet in a different location inside the store.
Saxton is charged with theft of lost/mislaid property.
