Brandon Charles Griffin, 17 of Rome, and Dmarion Market Grier, 18 of Rome, were arrested near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Broad Street after police said they found a large amount of drugs and a gun.
Police said that a search of their vehicle led officers to find multiple baggies of marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials, and a 9mm AR-style rifle.
Grier is charged with two counts possession/distribution or sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Griffin is charged with two counts possession/distribution or sale of marijuana.
