Keith Allen Maldonado, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he placed his son in a choke hold for one minute, resulting in him being unable to breathe.
The victim told police that he thought Maldonado was going to “kill him”.
The incident occurred at a location on Nanellen Road.
Maldonado is charged with aggravated assault and battery.
