Corun Jaron Sellars, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he refused police orders to get out of the middle of 8th Avenue.

Reports said that Sellars was found standing in the road and refused to move.  Officers said that when they attempted to place him into custody, Sellars ran in an attempt to avoid arrest.

While being taken into custody, officers said that they found Sellers in possession of three financial cards and a bag containing suspected methamphetamine.

Sellars is charged with three counts financial transaction card fraud, disorderly conduct, obstruction, possession of meth, crossing the roadway without a crosswalk and probation violation.
