Chayce Lee Stokes, 18 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he was found with alcohol after running from officers.
Reports said that Stokes attempted to flee an investigation into a crime on 2nd Street.
Police added that when they caught up with Stokes they found him in possession of alcoholic beverages.
Stokes is charged with underage possession of alcohol and obstruction of law enforcement.
