Rome Man Jailed for Hitting Small Child in Back of the Head

Isaac Sellers, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he hit an 8 year-old child in the back of the head with a closed fist.

Report said that Sellers struck the child, which was a family member, behind his left ear.  The punch left visible injuries to the child.

He is also accused of punching holes in the wall of a home on Watters Street.

Sellers is charged with battery, cruelty to children in the 1^st degree and criminal trespass.
