Anthony Chris Dupree, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he burglarized property belonging to the Georgia Housing Authority.

Reports said that Dupree entered a home on 1301 Cedar Avenue without permission and after being previously banned from the dwelling.  Authorities added that Dupree entered the residence through the window.

When police arrived, they said that Dupree fled through the backdoor in an attempt to evade being captured.

Dupree is charged with first degree burglary, criminal trespass and obstruction.
