James Brent Kemp, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found driving drunk with two children in his vehicle.

Reports said that Kemp was pulled over on GA 1 at Stone Bridge for failing to maintain his lane of travel.  It was then noticed that Kemp was driving on an expired registration. While speaking with Kemp, an opened bottle of alcohol as allegedly located in his vehicle.  It was also discovered that Kemp had been driving under the influence of alcohol with two children inside his vehicle.

Kemp is charged with DUI, two counts endangering a child by DUI, driving without insurance, open container, failure to maintain lane and driving a motor vehicle on an expired registration.
