A Cedartown couple, Shian Shanay Winfield, 21, and Notoriosu Zzaveon Pitts, 20, were arrested in Rome after police said they found drugs and a gun during a search of a location near East 12th and Walnut Streets.
Police said that Winfield was found with marijuana and a handgun during the search.
She was charged with marijuana possession and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Pitts was charged with probation violation.
