The Summerville City Council announced that they have not renewed the contract of current City Manager Janice Galloway, and a search to hire an interim replacement is now underway.
Galloway has served as city manager since 2018.
The City said that resumes are now being accepted and have until December 8th at 5 PM to submit.
Resumes may be submitted at Summerville City Hall.
The requirements include:
- A bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business or a related field
- Two to five years of management or administration in the public sector
The council says that they are planning to hire an interim city manager while they search for a candidate to fill the position permanently.
