Melinda Ann Trump, 61 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stole a purse and an iPhone from a location on Maple Avenue.
Reports listed the value of the stolen items at over $1500.
The alleged theft was committed on October 1 of this year.
Trump is charged with theft by taking.
