Adam Lance Compton, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he violated a court order when he made contact with a woman for the purpose of harassing and threatening her.
Reports said that Compton told the victim that he would kill her before their upcoming court date.
Compton is charged with aggravated stalking and terroristic threats and acts.

Adam Lance Compton, 37 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail after reports said he violated a court order to stay away from an 11 year-old child.
Reports said that Compton had been ordered to stay away from the child and her mother after he allegedly slapped her over a pair of iPods.
