Rome Man Breaks into Woman’s Home After Threatening to Kill Her

John Daniel Whatley III, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly sent a victim a text message advising that he was going to shoot her in the head.  He is then accused of going to her home on Burnett Ferry Road and kicked in her door.

That incident occurred back on November 8^th.

Police went on to say that on November 10^th, Whatley fled from police on foot.

Whatley is charged with first degree burglary, terroristic threats and acts, obstruction and probation violation.
