Brenda Joe Garland, 68 of Rome, was arrested at a location on Etowah Drive after she allegedly attacked two police officers during an investigation.
Police said that after being called to the scene, Garland was found drunk in public. While being question, Garland allegedly punched one officer in the face and kicked another.
Garland is charged with two counts simple battery against a police officer, two counts felony obstruction and public drunk.
