Robert Terrell Dubose Jr, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he tried to kill two three month-old children.
Reports said that Dubose placed a pillow over the two twin sisters while they were crying. Police added that the children were born five months premature.
One of the children suffered a broken neck from the assault.
The incident occurred back on October 3rd.
Dubose is charged with two counts aggravated assault and cruelty to children in the 2nd degree.
