Rome police arrested Lanarius Zondrea Dupree II, 35 of Rome, on various charges after he allegedly violated a protection order when he entered a home on Longmeadow Drive while carrying a firearm.
Reports said that Dupree had been previously banned from the property by law enforcement.
The incident was done in front of a small child.
Dupree is charged with first degree burglary, aggravated stalking, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.
