Jamerious Davion Trammell, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he hijacked a car at an apartment on Blankenship Place.
Reports went on to say that Trammell them proceeded to attack the owner with the car, causing serious injury to the victim.
After being captured by police, Trammell was found in possession of marijuana. He was also found to have driven the stolen vehicle without a license.
Trammell is charged with robbery, hijacking a vehicle, aggravated assault, felony theft by taking, driving without a license and possession of marijuana.
