Chance Dalton Beam, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he led police on a high speed chase of speeds at over 110 mph.
Police said that Beam speed off while they were attempting to pull him over for running a stop sign. It was then Beam reportedly fled at speeds of over 110 mph down Highway 101.
After eventually stopping, police said that Beam continued to struggle with them attempting to prevent being handcuffed.
Beam was found to have been driving on a suspended license.
Beam is charged with speeding, attempting to elude police, driving on a suspended license and obstruction.
