Ricky Lamar Turner, 44 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of methamphetamine after running from officers while investigating an assault.
Police said that Turner led them on a foot chase while wanting to question him about an earlier assault. After catching up with him, police said that they found methamphetamine in his pants pocket.
Turner is charged with possession of meth, obstruction of law enforcement, parole violation and probation violation.
