William Dean Owens, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after he entered Model High School without permission.
Police said that Owens entered the building illegally when another student allowed him in though a locked door.
Police added that Owens did not check in the office before entering and loitering with the students.
Owens is charged with loitering on school property, unauthorized person to check into a school building and criminal trespass.
