How do you get rid of cans of paint, household electronics, car batteries and pool chemicals when you’re done using them? Many Floyd County/Rome residents are taking them to Clean Earth’s household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, September 17.
The event allows residents who have signed up to safely discard all household hazardous waste by dropping it off at the Rome/Floyd Recycling Center. From there, Clean Earth transports the waste to its recycling facilities to be carefully and responsibly recycled.
Floyd County/Rome residents regularly attend this annual event and are excited to begin the fall without household hazardous waste cluttering their spaces.
Who: All Floyd County residents who want to discard their household hazardous waste during the Clean Earth event.
