A Gaylesville man, Christopher Tallent, 44, has multiple charges after fleeing from Chattooga County Deputies Saturday night.
Reports said that as he attempted to elude pursuing officers, he drove into Cherokee County where he abandoned the vehicle and after a foot chase.
Tallent was eventually captured and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a previous charge and he was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
