Floyd County Public Works has opened Big Texas Valley Road with new weight restrictions at the Cabin Creek Bridge. Weight restrictions are as follows:
H-truck – 16 Tons
Type 3 truck – 16 Tons
Timber trucks – 21 Tons

Floyd County Public Works is actively closing Big Texas Valley Road at Cabin Creek Bridge due to flood damage to the bridge. Big Texas Valley Road will be closed to thru traffic from Huffaker Road to Friday Road until further notice. Official detour will be Highway 100 to Alabama Highway. Detour route map is attached.
