A Silver Creek couple, Angelica Katherine Brown, 23, and Triston Drake Bright, were arrested at their home on Old Rockmart Road after reports said they left a four year-old child outside alone with no access to food, water, or shelter while they slept.
Police went on to say that when they arrived on the scene, Bright confined Brown to a bedroom and kept her from answering the door.
Once at the jail, Bright allegedly acted in an aggressive manner toward officers.
Both are charged with cruelty to children in the first degree.
Bright is additionally charged with false imprisonment, obstruction and two counts probation violation.
