Megan Nicole Worsham, 31 of Rome, and Dominique Rashad Leath, 29 of Rome, were arrested near the intersection of Huffaker Road and Shorter Avenue when police said they found them in possession of a large amount of drugs that were packed for distribution.
Police said that they found over an ounce of marijuana that was packaged for resale, two firearms, plastic baggies, and a digital scale.
Both are charged with two counts possession, distribution or sale of marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Leath is additionally charged with three counts failure to appear.
