Bartow County officers recently responded to 23 Pointe Way in reference to a report of a male with a gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported to the Cartersville Medical Center and later air-lifted to Chattanooga Erlanger Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, Cartersville Police Department Investigators arrested Maude Annette Glisson, 61, Temple, Georgia, for the shooting. Ms. Glisson was charged with Aggravated Assault (FVA), Aggravated Battery (FVA), and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. She is currently housed at the Bartow County Jail.
