Sheriff Mark Schrader says that the victim of Monday night’s fatal accident on Highway 27 near Greeson Street in Summerville was Jeremy Paul Crump, age 45 of Summerville. The sheriff says that a vehicle traveling north on Highway 27 struck Mr. Crump who was dressed in dark clothing in the outside northbound lane. The driver of the vehicle immediately stopped after striking Mr. Crump. The Georgia State Patrol is continuing their investigation.
Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader says that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Highway 27 near Greeson Street in Summerville shortly before 10 PM on Monday night. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
