Sammy Christopher Lamar Maples, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said they found him in possession of methamphetamine inside a smoking device at a location on Martha Berry Highway.
Police said that Maples was at the Saga Inn at the time of his arrest.
Maples is charged with possession of meth and possession of drug related objects.
