Christopher Adam Rogers, 38 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he took a bank card that had been left in an ATM and then used it to make a purchase.
Police said that after finding the card at a location on Shorter Avenue Rogers then went to the nearby Mapco to make a $58 purchase.
Rogers is charged with theft by taking and financial transaction card theft.
