Albert Eugene Barger, 42 of Lewisport, KY, was arrested in Rome after he allegedly threw a cup of sweet tea into a woman’s face.
Police added that Barger later grabbed the victim by the neck, preventing her to breathe for 10 seconds.
The incidents occurred at a home on Cole Street.
Barger is charged with aggravated assault, battery and simple battery.
