Overview:
Every summer Crosspoint does an event called BLESS Weekend where people volunteer to help with various different projects in Adairsville, Cartersville, and Rome. The whole point of the weekend is to get our people out in our communities to serve people who need it. A major part of this weekend is an event called Supplies for Success (It was previously called Give a Kid a Chance, but they changed it this year). Supplies for Success is a massive event that involves several churches and organizations that provides kids in need with bookbags and the school supplies they will need for the coming school year. We host two of the sites for the event. One at our location in Cartersville, and the other with y’all in Rome at the Sheriff’s Office, but there are many more sites throughout Bartow County. While we host the sites and provide the volunteers, we work with the BLESS Coalition who provides the bookbags and supplies for everyone attending all Supplies for Success events.
