Charles James McKissic, 70 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he physically removed a disabled elderly person from his wheelchair and throw him outside the home.
Police said that the victim was listed as a 65 year-old male.
The incident occurred at a home on Ohio Drive.
McKissic is charged with simple battery and exploitation and intimidation of the elderly.
