Carol Hunter Elrod, 60 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she made “unlawful contact” with a 60 year-old man.
Reports said that the victim suffered a visible injury in the attack.
The incident occurred at a home on Coosa Street.
Elrod is charged with battery.
