Marion Kenneth Boyd, 65 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a large amount of drugs during a traffic stop on Highway 20 at South Avery Road.

Police said that after pulling Boyd over for not having a working tag light they found him in possession of marijuana and multiple baggies of marijuana.

Police added that Boyd also gave them a fake name and date of birth in order while being questioned.

Boyd is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, obstruction of law enforcement, driving on a suspended registration, no tag light and concealing the identity of a vehicle.
